Well, they didn't have EXHAUSTED as a choice for my mood, so happy will have to do. My weekend started last Friday and just ended last night. We met my SIL and MIL for Mexican (and margaritas, of course) Friday night. Saturday morning, my crazy husband got up at some God forsaken hour (like 4:30 am ) to take the boat out and do some fishing. I keep telling him I will get up and go with him, but, ummmm, that doesn't seem to happen - I don't think I can physically do ANYTHING that hour of the day - night - whatever it is!! I spent New Years Eve day running errands, and we met back at home at about 4:00 that afternoon. Brent is the "griller" in our house, as I don't even know how to light it! So, New Years Eve he cooked lobster tails, shrimp, and scallops on the grill. We enjoyed our dinner and spent New Year's Eve on the couch, awaiting the ball to drop in NYC!!! We are so exciting!!!!! Actually, when midnight came, I was giving my honey a big kiss- they say whatever you're doing at midnight tells of the year to come - so I guess that was a good thing!! We did manage to get out of the house long enough to run over to the neighbor's house and share a glass of champagne, but I was pretty ready to go to sleep by 1:00 a.m.
Sunday was a LAZY day. Brent cooked a big breakfast and we were still in our p.j's at about 2:00 when some friends in from out of town stopped by. We visited with them, put all of the Christmas decorations away in the basement, and went to an early dinner at Bahama Breeze.
Monday was the big GAMEDAY! We headed to the GA dome at about 3:00, checked in our hotel, grabbed some food from Jocks and Jills, and headed to the game. Fast forward to 2:00 am and we were back to the hotel. The other couple we were with agreed with us that we MAY be getting too old for this, as none of us could even start to get out of bed until about 10:00 am on Tuesday. The Dawgs lost (insert sad face), but all in all we had a great time.
My weekend ended last night, when I turned the lights out at about 9:00. Ahhh, but it was so much fun!!!

What a game!! I thought about you being at the game as I watched and commented to my hubby that with such a late start that you wouldn't be out of there until 2:00 in the morning and looks like I was right! Glad you had a great time. There is nothing like a college football game...lol:)
