I am beginning to think that the funnest part of Christmas gift giving is the stocking. When I was little, the stockings were kind of overlooked, mostly just candy and maybe some lipgloss or something. The fun presents were the BIG presents that couldn't fit in a stocking.
The first Christmas Brent and I were dating, he went ALL OUT on my stocking, and still does. I had make-up, Victoria's Secret perfume, candles, goodies from Harry and David and Bath and Body Works, etc., etc.(ok, maybe his sis helped out -hehe). Some of my favorite things were in the stocking!
This year, I have had so much fun buying goodies to fill my husband's stocking. So far, I have gotten Polo Blue cologne, chapstick, a Bass Pro Shops gift card, a GA bulldogs coffeemug and keyring, a little brass pocket compass, mint shampoo (he loves this stuff), jellybeans, and a Sugar Bowl t-shirt. All little things that will make him smile! I can't wait to sit in the living room floor together Christmas night and dump our stockings out and see what little treasures I will have this year !!!

haha my favorite part of christmas was the stocking. Cuz we didnt have to wait for mom and dad to wake up before we could have it! My girls found their stocking stuffers today,, ohhh I was so mad!! I just threw it all back in my closet and told them Santa was gonna sneak in and take it all back! In reality Im returning the goodies and getting new ones. Little sneaks!
That would make me so mad. One year my sister found my Mom's hiding place and told us all what we were getting. My Mom didn't return it and nobody was surprised. Stockings were only filled with candy, the extra's are going to be so cool. You shopped very good this year! They're going to be thrilled!

I love picking out the stocking gifts as well. It's always fun to see how much you can fit in the stocking...lol:)

I used to love getting a stocking too. I would always get Toffeefay candy and Bonnie Bell lip gloss....and not those cheap skinny sticks they have now, but the big, thick ones. I loved the Dr. Pepper and 7-up, but the favorite was bubble gum. Man, just smelling that now takes me back to 6th grade! Of course, the best stocking stuffer I ever got was 11 years ago when I had my daughter Hayley on Christmas day. They put her in a stocking....it was so cute! ;o)
I always make the kids stockings special and filled with cool little things. That's their favorite part of Christmas. When they are done opening their big gifts, they all sit down and start opening each present in their stockings and they have more fun doing that!
